76 Endometriosis success story (e-book)

5427 Ft

"I had a dream. A recurring dream, many times now for years, I know every frame of it by heart. It's always the same, I'm walking on a beach, it must be autumn, it's about to rain. It's grey, I'm wearing rubber boots, in my dream I can see my feet as I walk, and the patterned boots on them. In my dream a little girl with pigtails runs towards me, Mum, Mum, she shouts and laughs loudly. A few steps behind her comes her daddy, smiling, waving.
The dream always ended with me holding my little girl in my arms, rolling around, laughing, hugging her. 3 years ago a doctor took this dream away from me, he said it was impossible, there was no chance. He came with numbers, statistics, he calculated, he regretted. After that, for two whole years I didn't dare to dream this dream.
I believed that I couldn't do it, that I had no right to dream because I was sick. Then one day I met a girl who put it like that, completely by chance, without knowing my story:
"The doctors took away my dream, but I wanted to keep dreaming. I got my dream back. "
When he saw the impact his words had on me, he gave me contact details for a doctor, a psychologist - that's how I got to Nóri Árvai - and his own number. I had a small handful of people who believed in my dream and a girlfriend with whom I regularly spoke my thoughts, just like on that fateful first meeting.
Sometimes that's all it takes to make a miracle happen: finding a team who believes in it, more than I ever dared.
When Nori and I talked about what I wanted to include in these lines, what I would like to see on the pages of the book, I already carry my little miracle under my heart.
Thank you, Nóri, for believing in my dream and believing in me! I couldn't have done it without you!"

This article was published in the book 76 endometriosis deaf history.
For Earth Day, I've taken a big axe to grind. I want EndoBlog to be an even more sustainable and environmentally conscious company.
This is why we are trying again to introduce e-books, this time in a new format.
We have had bad experiences, years ago when we published books in downloadable format, it was all over the internet in no time - you can imagine how much this can hurt a small Hungarian business.
But I sincerely hope that in the last few years we have developed an even stronger, more human team. I believe that there are people here who would no longer do this with a small love business, and who also care about sustainability.
We will soon have 1020 EndoBlog babies, 1020!!!
These little ones, for whom I am a bit of a "godmother", have to grow up somewhere. And for now, there is no better place, no better home than our beautiful Earth.
The e-book format is now a test for us, we'll see if we can go in that direction this time and do it for other products.
Now, 76 endometriosis success stories are making their debut on Earth Day in an online, paper- and delivery-free format.
If this can be maintained, if there is no piracy, we will be able to offer this convenient, and not least cheaper, solution for more of our products, as the paper on which books are printed and the delivery charges of courier services are now measured in gold.
And after our (for now) paper books, we want to support the planting of a new tree, and we're discussing the process with Ecologi, who do a fantastic, superhuman job.
Happy Birthday, EarthMom! Thank you for being there, for putting up with our f@cks. We love you!

Nóra Árvai in the Endoblog.hu psychologist, has been working for over 13 years to support people with endometriosis.

Now, based on her interviews with 76 women, she has brought stories that inspire, motivate and give hope to those affected.
76 everyday women, who you wouldn't think, and maybe you wouldn't have thought, but who are moving mountains, changing the world, just by the way they live, the way they think, the stand they take for themselves and for others.
Searchingly honest, at times tear-jerking, at times hilarious, this is a volume - like life itself.
Real women, real stories.
Hope, strength, inspiration - that's what this book offers.
Read one story a day (if you can bear not to skim the whole thing at once)
There are things I've come to realize myself by looking through the stories and reading them all at once... like what these healed, fantastic women have in common.
To mark Earth Day, this is my first e-book, or online book. You can read the book immediately after payment, using a pdf-reader.
Forwarding the book is forbidden and constitutes a criminal offence. This is a test on our part to see if we can go further in this environmentally friendly direction and publish our other publications online - if you send it on to someone else, we won't be able to protect the environment in this way.
