In this post, I share my personal favourites with you.
When I'm in the mood for a sweet treat or friends are coming over, I choose from these. They're lightning-fast, usually-at-home snacks, so I don't get embarrassed if, say, I wasn't expecting guests or I really need a life-saving snack really quickly.

Apples and bittersweet chocolate
The apples and the escargot are a very good combo It's one thing to be delicious, but that's not all they can do! The skin of apples contains flavonoids, which have anti-inflammatory properties, and the catechins in the chocolate - provided you choose a good quality, really high cocoa content - have antioxidant properties that help keep the walls of blood vessels elastic. This combo is a winner if you're looking for a sweet treat that helps keep your cardiovascular system healthy.

A handful of natural cashew nuts
No need to explain, everyone loves cashews! Make sure you choose the natural version, not the salted one. It's a real calorie bomb, so a handful is a handful, not five.

Camomile chocolate pudding
Chocolate pudding without chocolate? Why not? Use this lightning-fast recipe:
- 1 tin of black beans,
- half, ripe banana,
- 2 tbsp natural, unsweetened cocoa powder,
- 1 tbsp cornstarch/chocolate vegan protein powder,
- 4 tbsp unsweetened natural vegetable milk,
- vanilla extract
- a pinch of xylitol or stevia
Simply puree the ingredients in a blender until you get a thick, homogeneous mass. Place in glass jars and refrigerate for at least half an hour. I usually decorate with a mint leaf.

Banana cream
Grab 3 ripe bananas, scrape out the seeds of 1 vanilla pod and blend in a blender until smooth. You can add a tbsp of rice milk if you feel the need. Very tasty!
