Do this for your health this December

It's so gross that it's been a year again, only a month to be precise.

I couldn't help thinking how tired we all were. This year has been nothing for me either, losing Karma, PhD, new extreme hyperactive puppy, new high school for my kid, starting a new business, writing my book...

But what I do is nothing compared to what I did and lived through when I had an active endo many years ago, pushing the daily lives of chronic patients.

The everyday days that I try to remind myself of so that I don't forget, but I can only recall them by reading my diary from that time.

The fear of the pain, the feeling of not knowing what it will get me into, what else the disease will take away from me, the uncertainty that even though I say yes to a program, I don't know if I can be there or if "something will come up"... It hurts, it's swelling, it cramps, it bleeds, it doesn't come...

But there are some things you never forget.

It's when fear creeps slowly, silently, insidiously into everyday life because of the endo. The pain. Loneliness. Helplessness. Fear. Of being alone and having no one. The tension of waiting in doctor's offices mixed with boredom creeps into everyday life. The smell of hospital disinfectant creeps into everyday life. The first night after surgery, alone with the pain.

I don't forget it, if only because every day I work with patients who are at the beginning, middle or - fortunately for more and more of them - at the end of their endo journey.

So no, in fact I'll probably never forget it, and that's okay.

Because the fact that today I can put my energy, my body, my soul, my life at the service of goals such as a degree, a new course, a PhD, research, development, progress, helping, will never come naturally to me. Probably no one can appreciate these things as much as someone who has experienced what it is like to push through a busy day struggling with an illness.

I never want to forget to be grateful for a pain-free life. And I never want to forget that the same exhilaration, joy, liberation, the same zest and energy for life is deserved by all women who are still living their days in pain and fear. And I would never want them to have to walk this journey as alone and lonely as I did more than a decade ago.

I will use all my knowledge, experience and love to bring you closer every day to the life you want to live, where it is not a question of what I can do today, but what I WANT to do today.

I wanted to create something now that will be useful and helpful to you wherever you go on your endo journey.

I have prepared an unusual Advent calendar for you, where you will find a short but powerful meditation/visualisation exercise every day from tonight until 24 December.

You can listen to a particular daily practice in the morning or evening, as a start or end to your day, or even during the day if you have some time after lunch.

It will recharge you, energise you, yet relax you, help you learn to manage stress, bring you closer to loving acceptance of your body and give you the tools to support yourself during the most mind-boggling times, like the end-of-year drive. Concrete exercises, concrete little tools for your physical and mental health, so really a practical advent calendar to look forward to!

During the 24 days together, all meditations will remain available, and the EndoBlog advent calendar group will remain until 6 January, so that you won't even have the stress of missing a day.

I'll round off the experience with my favourite Christmas recipes, Christmas tips, menus, health and environmentally conscious festive tips. We'll learn about everything from the effects of winter spices on the endo, to the gentle dismantling of more tactless, prying relatives, to New Year's Eve menus that can benefit a health-conscious woman in December.

The price is super friendly, because I would like everyone to be able to join if they want to! If you took the program last year, you should still come, because I've upgraded it, added new videos, and a full e-book at the end as an extra. Feel free to contact me and I'll also give you a two thousand forints unique coupon code if you joined us last year.

I look forward to seeing you!

And whether you come or not, I wish you and your loved ones a very happy and loving Advent! May this season be full of light, fragrance and smiles for you!
