But you're lucky, it's easy for you...

Have you ever heard how lucky you are?

Do you know any of them?

But good for you, what a lucky build you have"

My muscles are the result of WORK I have been doing since I was 14 years old. 1 hour of cardio and 20 minutes of bodyweight training a day. Every day.

"But you're lucky, you write so easily! "

No, I'm not lucky, it's the result of the many hours of WORK I put in, working most nights instead of sleeping, with all the coffee I could eat the next day, alongside my clients and family life.

"Good for you, you speak 4 languages, how lucky you are! "

No, I am not lucky, I have learned. Over the years, with work, as adult language learners do.

"But good for you, you've found your mission and you're doing what you love. Yes, how lucky you are! "

No, I didn't find it, I earned my mission, and the success of my business didn't fall in my lap... can you guess? The result of hard WORK... no, not nine to five, but often zero to twenty-four, seven days a week.

"Well, you have six degrees, well, you know, I had to work while I was at school, and you're lucky, you have an easy education..."

No, learning is not easy. Why should it be easy?

I also had to work alongside school. I got my first degree with an all-hour pregnancy, studied for my second in hospital and was taken to the state exam by ambulance the day after my major operation. Was it easy ? Or is it easy now, with a child, a household, a business, a family? I wouldn't say so. I just decided it was important, so I do it like everyone else who takes the trouble to study as an adult.

"How good for you, how lucky you are, how little sleep you get!"

This is one of my favourites, no comment.

"But good for you, you're symptom-free, you're cured of endometriosis, how lucky you are, how rare! "

Haha. Behind the years of being symptom-free is daily exercise, movement, meditation, stress management, a life management system, over 500 hours of self-awareness, tough lifestyle and personal changes and a special plant-based diet I developed. You call that luck? I don't.

I'm even "lucky" because my dog is well-behaved... Khm, er, not stepping off the sidewalk for roughly four hundred up and down steps, no, no good, come back, again, smart- cost me exercise, work, time, energy.

Very rough, but half of 2023 has passed. I don't know if you feel the same way, but this year feels like it's in a hurry, like someone's chasing you, come on, let's go, hurry up! Time goes by, I blink twice and bam, it's two months later, and I swear I only blinked twice.

It is this feeling, this experience that inspired me to bring you my article But you are lucky.... Have you ever received this sentence?

The days go by so fast, rushing by, running around, we're just scratching our heads. I just got my puppy, he was a tiny, shy puppy 3 months old, and now he's a little shy, borderline borderline shy teenager, the little furry guy... but before I get too nostalgic, back to the point: the days are running by, and if we don't pay attention, they run by, they melt away, time passes between our hands. Time, days, days turn into weeks, weeks into months, months into years in a matter of seconds... life.

But you're lucky... It's easy for you!

I am lucky, very lucky, for many reasons.

I am lucky to have a family, friends, to live in peace (well, relatively),

However, what I have struggled for, not slept for, put hours, weeks, years into, studied, written, researched, read, run, cooked, planned, created, written, is not luck. It is commitment, decision, perseverance and WORK.

This is how we live - mothers, entrepreneurs, writers, chronic patients, people with endometriosis, students, athletes.

For those who hide behind their excuses, we will always be the lucky ones who were in the right place at the right time. In their imagination perhaps, but in reality we don't have rich American uncles, we don't have media guru buddies, we weren't born with no-sleep genes.

We simply made a decision:

My health is important.

My vocation is important.

My development is important.

My family, including my dog, is important.

And importantly, we will work hard. Every single day. That's the big secret.

If you would like to be "lucky" like me - i.e. do something every day for your health, yourself, your development, your loved ones, your relationships, your harmony - then you should join the HERE for my annual online mentoring program, I'll be closing applications soon!

One small step every day, just a few minutes of work every day, and in a year's time you'll be very "lucky" too. 🙂

I look forward to seeing you there!
