It's a main dish that you either really like or really don't. In my family, I'm the only one who eats it, and sometimes my son, but he only eats it if I purée it, so it doesn't look like chickpeas.
Chickpea stew
Ingredients:
a packet of chickpeas, olive oil, garlic, cornflour and rice milk for the stir-fry, herbs to taste, salt, pepper
Preparation:
I soak the chickpeas the night before. It should soak for at least 12 hours!
I fry the onion in the olive oil, add water, pour in the chickpeas, from which I have previously drained the remaining soaking liquid. I let it cook, even after soaking the chickpeas are still quite firm, it takes about an hour for them to soften.
Stir until smooth, then pour into the broth and mix thoroughly. From this point, I let it simmer for another minute, stirring frequently. At the very end, I season it, this time I put in bear's onion, parsley greens, salt and pepper. Before serving, I sprinkled with dried parsley. It looks funny, you can hate the taste or love it, but the benefits are undeniable!
Enjoy your meal!
