Endometriosis diet for you
Want to relieve your endometriosis pain and other symptoms naturally? Do you want to start a healthy lifestyle? Do you need prescriptions to help you in your daily life? Then you've come to the right place! In the pages of my endometriosis diet books, I'll help you live your everyday life with joy and health.
I am a health psychologist and I have also struggled with endometriosis for years. When I was setting up my own diet years ago, I also dove into the world of nutrition. I was a vegetarian for years, then switched to a completely plant-based diet 6 years ago. I have also done 4 nutritionist trainings, two of which were specifically on plant-based diets. For me, the mind-body-spirit connection is clear, mental and physical health are both important pillars of our well-being. What you like to eat and what you think is healthy is important in an endometriosis diet. Why do I say this? As a science communicator, I have translated hundreds of research papers on endometriosis diet from 4 languages. There is evidence for everything and evidence against everything. How is this possible? What can be done so that eating is not a constant dread?
A healthy diet means different things to different people. Mine is not "just" vegan either, because for example, I supplement my diet with propolis, which is animal-based. I don't eat soy and soy products because it doesn't feel right, even though it's usually the main source of protein in a vegan diet.
I would be happy to help you if you want to develop a sustainable, lovable and endometriosis-friendly diet.
I've always known that for me personally, plant-based nutrition has been instrumental in my recovery, but I realised its true power when I was 76 endometriosis success stories a reader of my book called me to say that she was going vegan because she noticed that most of the women in my book who were recovering had switched to a plant-based diet. Of course, I'm not saying you have to be vegan and you'll be cured of everything. Every person is different, every body, every microbiome is individual, so there is no ideal diet for everyone.
